I think I've figured out one part of the problem I'm having with this pattern. Since doing this, it's looking great and is an easy pattern to do! I hope this helps others! To end row 2 when there's 5 stitches left, do the ending cluster skip next ch, YO, insert hook in next dc, YO and pull up a loop, YO and draw through 2 loops on hook, YO, skip next ch and next dc, insert hook into last st, YO and pull up a loop, YO and draw through 2 loops on hook, YO and draw through all 3 loops on hook. then do the following (YO and pull up a loop, YO and draw through 2 loops on the hook) do this 2 times, YO and draw through all 3 loops on the hook. for row 1 stop when there is 4 chains left. The pattern also suggests a longer starting chain (184). The solution is that the clusters should be done over 5 stitches, so at the end you should have 6 loops on the hook to pull through to finish the cluster. Luckily, my teacher found another version of it in a book she had. So i'm rating the pattern as printed, with 1 star. I was struggling with it, and so was the person who was teaching me to crochet. I started working on this pattern after finding a free copy by Bernat at my local craft store.
